Russian Ambassador reveals lift Chapter VII for Iraq soon, and renews his support in the Security Council

Revealed the Russian ambassador in Baghdad, Wednesday, that Iraq will emerge from under Chapter VII in the near future, indicating that it is the implementation of some procedural matters only, stressing in this respect his country's support for Iraq in case of ending the sanctions imposed on it under the said Chapter, as announced that Moscow supported the formation of a government involving all the political components.

He said the Russian ambassador Variyan Hovaiev in an interview for "Alsumaria News" on Wednesday, said that "Iraq is applied with its international obligations very well, and the Russian Federation to cooperate with him in this area," pointing out that "Iraq will come out in the near future subject to Chapter VII."
