Al Iraqiya ahead of State of Law

Spokesman for Independent High Electoral Commission Qassem Al Aboudi announced that final results of Iraq Parliamentary elections will be announced on Friday in a press conference that will be held at Al Rashid Hotel, Baghdad.
After counting votes of 95% of polling centers, Al Iraqiya Coalition led by former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi is slightly ahead of State of Law Coalition led by Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki.
AFP figures show that Al Iraqiya has surpassed State of Law Coalition by around 11 000 votes.
Iraqi National Alliance is third and Kurdistan Alliance fourth, IHEC figures reported.
