Baghdad 4 April (Akaniwz) – The economic adviser said on Sunday that the Iraqi government did not succeed in the project to consolidate the Iraqi economy to the global economy in full, because of lack of cooperation with the UN mission, “UNAMI,” with the government, as well as legislation ancient and the absence of banking reform .
The Economic Adviser to the President of the Iraqi government, the outgoing, Salah al-Quraishi told Kurdistan News (Akaniwz) “The Iraqi government has not yet completed the project of economic reform, which was launched at the beginning of 2009, in full, the lack of cooperation of the UN mission (UNAMI), with the government smoothly or according to the legal framework under which the Iraq. ”
Qureshi added that “the law of economic reform project, which aims to integrate the Iraqi economy to the global economy, is subject to many interpretations and explanations, as it is intertwined with the previous laws that pose an obstacle to the development of the economy in the country.”
He noted that the “joint commission between Iraq and the UN Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) met only three, were not presented during the meetings of any issues of concern to the Iraqi economy.”
