MP for Iraqi Abdul-Karim al-Samarrai the importance of the rapid formation of the federal government coming before the UN Security Council meeting, noting that the Security Council will be allocated its to discuss the situation and political developments in Iraq, and this in itself is new pressure on political parties negotiating to form a government.
He explained to our site, Tuesday 20 / 7, that the Security Council meeting on the fourth of August \ August, will have a clear impact on the political scene in the country, particularly as the UN envoy Ad Melkert in Iraq, will provide a detailed report on the political situation in the country.
In the same vein, called on the bloc of Izz al-Din Iraqi state firmly to form a government by taking a national decision to overcome the political crisis, especially that Iraq is still subject to prosecution under Chapter VII, the UN Security Council meeting will be centered on the Iraq issue.
It is noteworthy that Iraq was subjected to the previous chapter of the Charter of the United Nations after the invasion of Kuwait, remnants of the Baathist regime in 1990.
