BAGHDAD - Iraqi Interior Minister Jawad al-Bulani has stressed his country’s keenness to maintain Arab and foreign diplomatic presence in the capital Baghdad.
BAGHDAD - The Iranian ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, on Saturday described the formation of the new Iraqi government as an “interior issue.”

BAGHDAD - The Justice Ministry’s Reform Department on Saturday released 187 detainees after they had been acquitted of all the charges against them.
NINEWA - Twelve persons, including Iraqi border security guards, have been arrested on charges of smuggling goods between Iraq and Syria, a source from the U.S. army said on Saturday.
NINEWA - The Ninewa Operations Command has renewed a midnight curfew in the city for security reasons, an informed source said on Saturday.
