*Politics:

BAGHDAD - Iran will activate the National Coalition (NC) between the Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance and the Iraqi National Alliance (INA), Kurdish Lawmaker Abdilbari Zebari said on Saturday.
BAGHDAD - The Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance and the Iraqi National Alliance (INA) will resume their talks within two days to choose the coming prime minister of Iraq, Hassan al-Sinaed, a leading figure of the Dawlat al-Qanoon, said on Saturday.
BAGHDAD - The Iranian presence in Iraq relies on the existence of the National Coalition (NC), Izat al-Shabandar, a Shiite leading figure of the Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance, said on Saturday.
BAGHDAD - The Head of the Sadr Movement Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr on Saturday arrived in Damascus following an official visit from the Syrian President Bashar al-Asad.

*Security:

KIRKUK - Two civilians were killed on Saturday and another wounded when a sticky bomb went off south of Kirkuk city.
BAGHDAD - Three Iraqi army soldiers and one civilian were wounded on Saturday in two separate blasts northern and western Mosul city.
KIRKUK - Two thermal bombs on Saturday hit a U.S. army patrol southwest of Kirkuk city, causing no casualties.
