In the form of Iraq and the United States eight committees to promote cooperation within the strategic framework agreement signed between the two countries, held in Washington next month's meeting to discuss the development of new frameworks to remove Iraq from Chapter VII.



A member of the Foreign Relations Committee in the House of Representatives in the Sami al-Askari told (morning): "The coming days will witness interviews and meetings are ongoing to develop and strengthen cooperation in various areas covered by the Framework Convention. The Joint Coordination Committee between Iraq and the United States on both sides of the political and diplomatic corps had held its first meeting in Baghdad on Sunday _ Monday, The Committee is chaired by the Iraqi side, Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and U.S. side by Deputy Foreign Minister Geoff Vlosman and discussed according to a statement of the external aspects of the recovery of Iraq's status of which he enjoyed prior to the adoption of resolution 661 of 1990 and Washington meet its obligations in this regard based on the agreement to withdraw U.S. forces from Iraq and the organization of its presence there. The military said that "the importance of the Framework Convention is not being associated with a specific date security such as the Convention", alluding to the formation of eight committees Iraq - U.S. to discuss strengthening cooperation in those areas.
