Israeli sources said today that the U.S. army will give Israel some of its equipment and ammunition after pulling out of Iraq. The newspaper “Jerusalem Post” on the Israeli officials in the Ministry of the Israeli army said a team from the U.S. Army, visited Israel to consider the possibility of storing some of the equipment and ammunition in the storage centers in different locations.

According to American officials, the plan was to leave a large amount of equipment in Iraq to help local security forces, and the transfer of additional equipment to Afghanistan, as well as to a number of countries in the region.

Stated that there are security agreement between Iraq and the United States calls for the withdrawal of all U.S. troops by the end of 2011.

One official said, “Among the equipment that you may receive Israel ammunition, vehicles and guns designed to intercept rockets and mortars.”

He said the equipment will be stored in Israel will be used in case of any emergency .. as happened during the Second Lebanon War when the army used the smart bombs that were stored had “.. Israel has already maintains weapons and military equipment, including missiles, armored vehicles and artillery since 1990.
