Babylon (AP AP) – The Union of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce meeting in Babil province to discuss the Law Union of Chambers and the promotion of trade and economic reality in Iraq.
President of the Chamber of Commerce of Babylon approved Afaihan said in a statement to Iraq our house today, “said the Union of Chambers of Commerce held on Sunday evening meeting in the province attended by the Chairman and members of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and heads of chambers of commerce in the whole of Iraq including the Kurdistan region to study the economic situation in Iraq.”
And “The meeting stressed the need to work hard to develop the Iraqi economy and restore its important role, through the realization of genuine partnership of the private sector with public sector and amending the Investment Law, the issuance of laws that protect the national economy such as the Tariff Act of customs and consumer protection and activating the role of the standardization and quality control and health monitoring and trade at the imported goods. ”
He stressed that “the government should reform the monetary system and banking laws were amended so as to enhance its role in promoting development and its responsibility to review the interest rates and easing of lending to traders and industrialists
