(Voice of Iraq) – PNA – in the development of a sensitive political situation in Iraq, the U.S. President Barack Obama to attend the U.S. ambassador in Baghdad, Christopher Hill and Representative of the Secretary-General in Iraq Ad Melkert.

The officials went to Washington for a series of meetings with the Obama administration deal with the government formation crisis and its repercussions on the political and security situation, which is linked directly to the program to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq.

Meetings will also deal with the possibility of resorting to United Nations intervention in the formation of an interim government as a subject of Iraq’s Chapter VII which allows them to intervene in cases deemed necessary to make political changes including the formation of the government.

The Iraqi List led by Iyad Allawi has threatened to resort to the United Nations in case the exclusion of a number of members of the list covered by the decisions of the accountability and justice
