بغ. BAGHDAD (Iba) .. chaired by Deputy Prime Minister A. روژ Nuri Cawessaleom Wednesday meeting of the Ministerial Committee on the Status of mechanisms to ensure the protection of Iraq's money abroad, and attended Alajtmaasadp the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Justice and the Governor of Central Bank and the President of the Board of Supreme Audit Advisor to the Prime Minister the legal and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and the Deputy Governor of the Bank Central and political adviser to Deputy Prime Minister.

. A statement by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister that during the meeting was to discuss the results of discussions conducted by the Iraqi government delegation and the Committee of Financial Experts in UN Security Council meeting held in New York on July 12 this month, and was the international meeting devoted to Astmaaly report of the Iraqi government and the commission of financial experts, along with the report Secretary-General of the United Nations concerning the procedures and attitudes which have been achieved by the Iraqi government to pave the way for the protection of Iraqi funds abroad after the end of this year, Iraq would emerge from Chapter VII as well as to inspect the progress made by the Government in completing the remaining contracts of the oil for food program, Compensation and debt owed by Iraq during the former regime has shown the parties of the relevant international appreciation for the seriousness shown by the Iraqi government in addressing these important files.


. He added that the report of the Secretary-General of the United Nations contains a lot of positive signals result of actions and Iraqi positions vacant period that followed the submission of its first last April.

. The statement said that the committee agreed on the need to continue the government procedures and the application of ministries that have a controversial decades after the oil for food program to accomplish what is required of them as soon as possible prior to the submission of the new report to the Security Council first and to be submitted in September.

. He also discussed the results of the Ministerial Committee meetings and talks held by the Iraqi delegation with the experts of alternate members of the UN Security Council, which focused on debt and discuss the issue of damages and financial claims and proceedings relating thereto.


. It should be noted that the Iraqi delegation said during his meetings on the need for participation and the international community to support Iraq through the scale and address outstanding problems because of their negative impact on economic and security situation in Iraq and the regional level.
